Sand Creek Ranch
An Ideal Wyoming Ranch The Ranch Conservation Community The Early Opportunity The Ranch Mission Statement
A growing number of us feel strongly that we now live in an era where many of the most attractive working ranches of the American West are rapidly becoming an endangered species. We aren’t just losing their physical acreage to rural sprawl, we're losing the values and the ranching lifestyle that have made the West so desirable.

During 2003 the Jenkins family set out to see if a plan to create a sustainable “ranch conservation community” on their Sand Creek Ranch, a working agricultural property, might be possible. After nearly three years of study, planning, analysis and feedback, the working design for the Sand Creek Ranch Conservation Community evolved to create and preserve something special and of sustainable value. Sand Creek is a place where a like-minded community of owners can enjoy an enriching ranch lifestyle along with ownership of a high quality, genuine ranch property.

The community design preserves this fine western ranch intact forever and maintains the ranch's agricultural productivity for future generations. While conserving and enhancing substantial wildlife habitat, the master plan also protects the ranch’s open spaces, viewsheds and unrivaled mountain vistas so they will never be lost.
